An elegant and super easy to prepare dessert that will remind you of a peppermint pattie, but even more delicious!
- 1 Premium Fudge Brownie Mix
- 8 ounce(s) of Philadelphia 1/3 lower fat Cream Cheese
- 3 cup(s) of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup(s) of Peppermint Schnapps
- 1 1/2 tsp. of fresh mint, minced
- 3 tbsp. of butter
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 10 pinch of chocolate sprinkles
Steps
- Prepare fudge brownie mix according to package directions, but substitute butter for vegetable oil and milk for water. Set aside
- Add peppermint schnapps to large sauce over high heat. Bring to a boil to remove the alcohol content. Add cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter, and mint. Stir until smooth, let cook for 5 minutes.
- Set the peppermint cream cheese topping aside and let cool.
- Add a serving of brownie to a dessert dish or martini glass. Top with peppermint cream cheese topping. Add a fresh mint and chocolate sprinkles.
